The 'All Fired Up' singer promises fans she will be back "ASAP" as she rests before the birth.
Frankie Sandford has confirmed she will be taking a short break from performing live with The Saturdays as she awaits the birth of her first child.
The 'Gentleman' singer is due to give birth in the coming months to a son with fiancé Wayne Bridge, and announced this week that doctors have advised her to take some time off from live shows until after the baby is born.
"Hey guys, really sad I won't be there for the next few gigs," Frankie tweeted last night (8th August). "I've been advised not to perform by my doctor until after the baby arrives.
"But don't worry, I know my other 4 Sats will totally rock it while I'm resting the bump," she added. "I'll be back ASAP!"
Earlier this month Frankie was spotted out buying baby clothes in central London with her footballer fiancé.
Frankie Sandford will be the third member of The Saturdays to become a mother in recent years, following bandmates Una Healy and Rochelle Wiseman.
