The US singer makes her long-awaited comeback during a live webchat with fans.
Taylor Swift has announced that her new album 'Red' will be released on 22nd October.
The singer made the announcement during a live webchat with her fans, during which she also debuted her new single 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.
The new song was written about Taylor's ex-boyfriend and is one of 16 songs on the new album.
"They're all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I've experienced in the last two years," she said of the album.
"All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that, in my mind all those emotions are red. There's nothing in between. There's nothing beige about any of those feelings."
