The 'Love Story' singer's latest record has become the highest selling record since Eminem in 2002.
Taylor Swift has sold over one million copies of her new studio album 'Red' during its first week of sales to make it the best weekly debut sales for a record since Eminem in 2002.
The 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' star's album sold an impressive 1.208 million copies in the US.
The album beat her previous best, 2010's 'Speak Now', which shifted 1.047 million.
Eminem's 'The Eminem Show' managed to hit 1.32 million copies in its first week of sales a decade ago.
The album also gives the singer her third straight number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and her fourth on the Country charts.
The album also features collaborations with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody.
Ed was this week seen sporting a new tattoo complete with the title of her record on his bicep, and he is due to head out on tour with Taylor in 2013 across North America.
