The 'Come And Get It' singer notches sales of 97,000 copies to claim the summit position.
Selena Gomez has become the new number one on the Billboard 200 chart with her new album 'Stars Dance'.
It's the first time the US star has hit the summit of the chart, with her previous best coming from 'When the Sun Goes Down' back in 2011 reaching the third spot.
She sold 97,000 copies of the new record to take the top spot away from last week's number one 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' by Jay-Z.
The top ten also features the likes of Marc Anthony, Justin Timberlake and country band Florida Georgia Line.
Meanwhile, Selena recently celebrated turning 21 and was reunited with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber at one of her parties.
It was also claimed that Taylor Swift avoided the party due to Justin's presence.
