Gary Barlow Congratulates Robbie Williams On Birth Of Baby Girl

The Take That singer sends his best wishes to his bandmate after arrival of Theodora Rose Williams.

Gary Barlow has congratulated his Take That band mate Robbie Williams following the birth of his first child.

The 'Candy' singer and his wife Ayda Field welcomed their baby girl Theodora Rose Williams on Tuesday (18th September).

In a statement, Robbie said: "Praise be, it's Theodora Rose Williams, affectionately known as Teddy."

He added that their baby girl was born at 3.33pm and weighed 7lbs 4oz.

In a message of congratulations on Twitter, Gary wrote: "Massive congrats Rob and Ayda. So happy for you."

The 'Let Me Entertain You' singer's first child has arrived just two days after he completed a series of intimate UK gigs in support of his new album 'Take The Crown', which is due to be released in October.

The album will be preceded by the single 'Candy', which was given its first play on Capital FM earlier this month. The record features production from Robbie's Take That band mate and long term friend Gary Barlow.
