The 'Hot Right Now' singer has been shortlisted in two categories at next month's industry event.
Rita Ora has confessed that it feels "surreal" to have picked up a total of three nominations in two categories at the BRIT Awards 2013.
The 'Shina Ya Light' star has been shortlisted for Best Breakthrough, and scooped two nods in the Best British Single with Capital FM category for 'R.I.P' and her DJ Fresh collaboration 'Hot Right Now'.
"It's really surreal," she told Capital at the nominations launch in London last night (10th January). "Last year I was here and no one knew who I was. This year I'm here and I have nominations."
The singer also admitted that she would be pleased either way if one of her nominated tracks scored the prize on the night.
"I'm happy, it doesn't matter. 'R.I.P' or 'Hot Right Now', whichever one wins," she said.
Rita also said she tries to feel like a new artist every year in order to stay fresh and avoid complacency.
"I kind of feel like a new artist every year all the time," she added. "I always feel like if I'm a new artist I never get comfortable, so I always pretend like I haven't got anything else. I always just carry on making my music.
"Right now, I just left the studio to come here. I've always got my mind like rolling around."
