Rihanna: "Katy Perry Is A Legend"

The 'You Da One' singer admits she has always looked up to the American singer.

Rihanna has revealed that she is in awe of her good friend and fellow musician Katy Perry.

The 'We Found Love' singer told Glamour magazine that she has always admired the style and attitude of the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer.

"Katy is a legend. I love her. When I met her she was like a breath of fresh air," she confessed.

The Bajan star admitted that she has always respected Katy and is glad to have adopted certain parts of the singer's individuality and approach.

"She was everything I wanted to be. Katy goes on the stage as she wants. She dresses as she prefers and says what she wants. Now I do it too," she added.

Much like Katy, Rihanna has been the subject of gossip rumours for matters of her personal life and relationships and believes she will never escape them.

Discussing her relationship with former boyfriend Chris Brown she said: "I'm afraid I'll have to live with the gossip between me and Chris throughout my whole life."

Katy was recently spotted away from her husband Russell Brand on Christmas Day, fuelling rumours of a marriage breakdown.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has revealed that she is set to release a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her recent sixth studio album 'Talk That Talk'.
