The 'You Da One' star's big screen debut in Battleship has apparently helped her score a part in Vin Diesel starring series.
Rihanna is reportedly set to play a villain in the new Fast And The Furious sequel according to The Sun newspaper.
The 'We Found Love' singer is top of the movie writers' wish list according to the publication who claim her debut acting role in recent blockbuster Battleship has lead to increased interest in the Bajan star.
A source said: "Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship. Writers think she'll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn't take any prisoners - just like her in real life."
They added: "It's a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles."
The 'Talk That Talk' star has already previously expressed her desire to continue in movies and told Capital that a role in a comedy would be something she wanted to try in the future.
Meanwhile, the star will unveil the highly anticipated music video for her new single 'Where Have You Been' today (30th April).
