Rihanna Named Most Talked-About Music Star On Facebook In 2011

The 'We Found Love' singer beat the likes of Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas.

Rihanna has been named the most talked-about music star on Facebook this year.

The social-networking website ranked the musicians on how many 'likes' they have alongside the speed that their profiles are growing and popularity.

Rihanna, who has over 47 million fans, came top ahead of Bob Marley and Avril Lavigne in second and third respectively.

The top five was completed by David Guetta at number four and Enrique Inglesias at five.

Lady Gaga is a surprising omission from the top five – star only managed seventh place despite having nearly as many fans as Rihanna.

Meanwhile, Facebook has also announced that Rihanna's 'We Found Love' was the most-listened to song on the website this year.

The track, which was only released in September, came ahead of songs by the likes of Katy Perry and LMFAO on the social network's most popular social trends of 2011.
