Rihanna and Chris Brown spent Christmas together, attending a basketball game in Los Angeles.
The one-off nature of the pair's romance has been the subject of huge speculation in recent months – but they seemed only too happy to display their affection in public as they went to watch the LA Lakers take on the New York Knicks at the Staples Center.
RiRi was seen cuddling up to Chris on the front row, where the 'Turn Up The Music' star had the singer in fits of giggles throughout the game.
Rihanna wore tight-fitting black skinny jeans with her chunky gold necklace, which Chris was reported to have bought her earlier this year.
The 'Beautiful People' star went for a black hooded top, which he pulled over his head as he held Rihanna's hand following the end of the game.
RiRi and Chris have previously dated, but split in 2009 when he assaulted her ahead of the Grammy Awards.
Earlier this year, Rihanna admitted she still loved her former boyfriend during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She said they were "very close friends", adding: "We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will."
Rihanna called the assault "embarrassing" and "humiliating" and, at the time, said she felt like she had "lost my best friend".
"We've been working on our friendship again and now we're very close friends," she said. "And that's not anything we're going to try to change."
But RiRi admitted that she finds it hard seeing Chris, who she called "the love of my life", because her feelings are so strong.
"It's awkward because I still love him," she said. "My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me.
"I have to maintain it and suppress it. When you don't understand those feelings you can make a lot of mistakes."
Rihanna is due to return to the UK next year when she embarks on her 'Diamonds' world tour.
