Professor Green: "Will Young Would Have Been Perfect For The Voice"

The 'Read All About It' star admits he is a big fan of the former Pop Idol winner.

Professor Green has said he is disappointed that Will Young missed out on becoming a mentor on The Voice.

The former Pop Idol star was favourite to join the panel of the new BBC talent show, but his place eventually went to The Script's Danny O'Donohue.

Speaking to The Sun, Professor Green said: "No one knows who Danny is. That's really s*** that they dumped Will for him.

"He would have been perfect for that job. He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to making music... I liked him."

The full judging panel for The Voice is Danny, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Will.I.Am. The series is due to begin later this year.
