They’d only just bought the lavish North London pad, but it’s back on the market as it is rumoured the pair split due to Perrie wanting to expand their family.
Well, it looks like there’s definitely no going back for Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik’s relationship – the pair have put the £4.2million house they recently bought back on the marked. Sob.
The couple, who have remained tight lipped about their break up, reportedly called time on the relationship due to differing ideas about expanding their family.
Zayn reportedly ended their engagement via text message because he wasn’t ready to have kids, while Perrie was apparently keen to start a family sooner rather than later.
A source told the Daily Star, “They were planning a baby just days before he told her it was over, and were even talking about which room they’d decorate as a nursery in their new home.
“Zayn seemed as excited about it as she was. But then it seems he panicked that marriage and babies weren’t for him at this stage in his life. It was like a switch had been flicked in his head.”
The news broke just as the Little Mix ladies were celebrating their number one single ‘Black Magic’ and are currently on a promotional tour in America.
Zayn and Perrie have since put the new home they bought just two months ago back up for sale for £4.2million according to the MailOnline.
A Sunday Mirror source claims Zayn asked Perrie to move her belongings out of the five-bedroom detached North London property they had recently bought, which previously belonged to a Premier League footballer.
As well as five bedrooms, the property also had FIVE bathrooms, a 25-acre garden complete with a terrace, jacuzzi, orangery, paddock and kennels as well as a games room with a pool table, home cinema and gym.

The pair bought the house together as a base for them both, close enough to London for work and far enough out to ensure they had privacy too.
A source at the time told The Sun, “This is a big statement by Perrie and Zayn. They’ve had to shoot down rumours of a split after his exit from the band and this is both of them showing everyone just how serious they are.
“They’re engaged and need somewhere they can both call home — and this house is it. It’s got everything they need and gives them a safe haven to base themselves when they’re both in London and Perrie isn’t away on tour.
“Zayn has a bit more time on his hands than he used to, so this is a good place to be for him to hang out with mates or just spend some time alone. Plus it is just half an hour or so from London so Zayn won’t be going into exile just yet.” Well, that didn’t last long…
While neither party has yet to speak out on the reasons behind the split, Perrie will apparently be breaking her silence when she appears on the Late Late Show with James Corden on 18th August. That’s going to be an interesting chat for sure…
