One Direction Thrilled To Be Back On Tour As They Prepare For First US Arena Show

The 'One Thing' stars say they are "excited" to take to the stage in Connecticut this evening.
One Direction have told their fans that it is "great" to be back on the road as they prepare to launch their debut US arena tour tonight (22nd May) with a show in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers have been taking to Twitter throughout the day to reveal their excitement and also told fans that they can't wait for their 2013 UK arena outing as well.
Singer Liam Payne tweeted: "1st show today very excited cant wait, its so greet to be back on tour again cant wait to do the big tour uk areanasssss."
The band's North American jaunt will see them perform 26 shows over the next three months finishing at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on 1st July.
Meanwhile, the boy band were recently confirmed as one of the headline acts at this year's iTunes Festival which takes place every night during September.
