The 'One Thing' group are set to hit the studio with US group to work on the follow-up to 'Up All Night'.

One Direction are set to write songs with rock band Boyce Avenue for their new album, it's been revealed.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' group have been working on the follow-up to their debut album 'Up All Night' for several months.

Boyce Avenue frontman Daniel Manzano said they were set to team up with 1D at their studio in Florida.

"We're meeting up to see what they think of some ideas we've got for them," he told the Daily Star.

"We've got a studio right by the beach, so it's a cool place for bands to come and write with us."

Earlier this year, One Direction took part in writing sessions for their new album in Sweden.

The group's members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan are currently enjoying a brief break following the conclusion of their first ever US headline tour.

Harry and Liam have been seen house-hunting in London, while Niall and Louis are both on holiday.
