The 'One Thing' stars are busy writing material with the likes of McFly as they work on album number two.
One Direction have revealed they have been writing songs for their second album alongside fellow boy band McFly.
The 'Gotta Be You' singers were invited over to McFly star Tom Fletcher's house yesterday (18th July) along with both Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones for a songwriting session together.
"Great session today with @Dannymcfly @dougiemcfly @tommcfly, famous words of Danny, "if we can't write a song, we'll have a laugh!" Haha," One Direction star Niall Horan tweeted last night.
McFly's Danny also posed: "Great sesh today with @Harry_Styles @NiallOfficial @Real_Liam_Payne @Louis_Tomlinson @zaynmalik1D Great hang in! Shame about y Fifa skills!"
Last month it was reported that Ed Sheeran has also penned one or two tracks that are being considered for a place on the track listing of One Direction's highly anticipated second album.

The five-piece band took part in a photoshoot last week at a secret location, after promising fans they will be able to hear new music before the end of the year.
One Direction returned from their headline tour of the US earlier this month and have been enjoying a rare bit of downtime as several band members have been on holiday or purchasing new homes or cars.
