One Direction's Liam Payne Heads Home For 'Up All Night' Tour Launch

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer will get to kick off the band's UK tour by performing at his home city in the Midlands.
One Direction's Liam Payne is anticipating a warm welcome tonight when the band kick off their first headlining tour with a performance in his home city of Wolverhampton.
The 'Gotta Be You' singers will take to the stage tonight (21st December) at Wolverhampton Civil Hall for the first night of their 'Up All Night' UK tour.
One Direction band member Niall Horan tweeted a message today saying the five boys can't wait to perform and that Liam is particularly excited about their opening gig.
"#1DonTour Wolverhampton we are on our way"! Niall posted today. "@Real_Liam_Payne is comin home! Yeah buddiiiiiie!!"
The 18 year-old singer hails from Wolverhampton where he used to study music technology at City of Wolverhampton College.
This afternoon the hash tag '#1Dmakesmesmile' began trending across the UK on Twitter in anticipation of the band's UK tour launch.
One Direction performed two warm-up concerts this week with a show at the Watford Colesseum on Sunday (18th December) followed by a gig at Southend's Cliffs Pavilion the following night.
