Leona Lewis Refutes Liam Payne Romance Rumours And Confirms She Is "Single"

The 'Trouble' singer says she isn't dating the boy band star despite recent rumours.

Leona Lewis has seemingly denied claims she has started dating One Direction star Liam Payne by confirming that she is currently single.

The 'Collide' singer and 'What Makes You Beautiful' star Liam were rumoured to have gone on several dates with each other last week, following the end of their respective relationships, but Leona has now refuted the reports.

The former X Factor UK winner told The Metro that she is still "single", but confirmed her relationship with German dancer Dennis Jauch has now ended.

One Direction's Liam also split from his longterm girlfriend Danielle Peazer last month after a reported two years together, and told The Sun he hopes the two can "still be friends" despite the break-up.

Leona Lewis is due to return to The X Factor UK this weekend, just in time for the launch of this year's live shows, to perform her latest single from new album 'Glassheart'.

Last week Liam also spoke out about band member Zayn Malik and admitted that he often worries about how the boy band star will cope with the pressures of fame.

One Direction are set to release their new album 'Take Me Home' on 12th November while their single 'Live While We're Young' is currently at number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40.
