The 'Little Things' singer and US star are said to have called time on their romance during their recent trip.
One Direction star Harry Styles and Taylor Swift have reportedly ended their relationship after a whirlwind romance over the past several months.
The young couple, who have been spotted out together regularly since November last year, are said to have got into a heated argument during their holiday break in the Caribbean which resulted in the split.
"it all came crashing down very quickly," a source told The Sun this week. "They seemed so into each other.
"Harry had flown to the US to surprise Taylor so they could spend New Year together," they continued. "but while in the Caribbean they had a huge fight.
"Taylor got on the next plane back to the US and Harry hung around for a few days letting off steam.
'Live While We're Young' singer Harry and US superstar Taylor flew out for a New Year's break to the British Virgin Isles on New Year's Day, after celebrating the start of 2013 in New York's Times Square with a very public kiss on the stroke of midnight.
Harry arrived back in the UK on Monday morning (7th January) after opting to stay on in the Caribbean after Taylor's return to the US, allegedly to visit richard Branson's private island Necker before his return to England.

Spokespeople for both Harry and Taylor have yet to comment on reports of the couple's split, while both stars have been quiet on Twitter since their return.
On 6th January Taylor simply tweeted: "...'til you put me down."
Harry and Taylor enjoyed a stay in the UK together towards the end of December 2012 when the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer stayed with the One Direction star and his family in Cheshire.
One Direction unveiled their music video for brand new single 'Kiss You' this week.
