The 'Little Things' singer has had a large number of tattoos done since his rise to fame with One Direction.
Harry Styles' mum and Syco boss Simon Cowell are reportedly concerned about the One Direction star's growing collection of tattoos.
The 'Live While We're Young' singer, who has had a number of body art designs done over the past year, was allegedly talked out of getting a Kanji symbol tattoo during his recent stay in Japan after his mum voiced her worries.
"Harry's mum is worried his tattoo collection is getting out of hand," a source close to the band revealed to the Daily Star. "She thinks he's getting addicted to sitting in the artist's chair.
"She's concerned about the lasting effects of the scribbles all over his body and thinks he could live to regret some of them."
The 'Little Things' star's most recent design was of two opposing swallows on either side of his chest, while his One Direction bandmates have also shown a penchant for body art since their rise to fame.
"Simon gave him some gentle advice suggesting he gives it a break for a while and reassess,' the source added, regarding The X Factor USA boss Simon Cowell's advice to the boy band star.
"Harry has had over 30 tattoos in the last year," they added.
