Olly Murs' Simon Cowell Phone Fear

Olly says he's scared to take Simon's calls.

Olly Murs gets uneasy every time Simon Cowell rings him as he's worried Cowell will be the bearer of bad news.

"I do get calls from him but it’s either the most amazing new in the world or the worst news," Olly told Capital FM.

"I’m still expecting to get the bad one saying, 'Sorry Olly, it’s all over'.

"He’s done so much for my career though that I’ll accept it and probably sing Please Don’t Let Me Go as I walk out of the door."

Olly is still in there with Simon as he's bagged the co-presenter slot on The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack and he says they have a giggle about staying in Simon's good books.

"Me and Caroline are always joking on The Xtra Factor that we haven’t been sacked yet," Olly said.

"We’re four episodes in and we’re still not sacked yet!"
