The Xtra Factor star speaks about the romance rumours surrounding her relationship with Olly Murs.

Caroline Flack has revealed that her mum wants her to marry Olly Murs.

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' is Caroline's co-presenter on The Xtra Factor and the pair have frequently faced claims they should hook-up together.

Appearing on Capital FM ahead of the start of the new series of the talent show, Caroline acknowledged the rumours about them dating, but insisted they were just good friends.

"I think everyone does [want me to go out with Olly Murs]. Even my mum, 'Can't you marry Olly?' all the time," she said.

Asked if she though they could ever become an item, Caroline replied: "Probably not. I think we've gone beyond that point now, you know when you become friends with someone.

"I think when we first met, because we're both flirts, we were quite flirtatious with each other and thought, 'Ooo, this is fun'."

The Xtra Factor and The X Factor will both return tomorrow (18th August) on ITV1.

The judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh will be joined this year by the latest edition to the judging panel, Nicole Scherzinger.
