Nicole Scherzinger Backs Sharon Osbourne To Join The X Factor UK - Audio

The 'Boomerang' star says she "adores" Sharon and would love to have her on the show.

Nicole Scherzinger has given her backing to Sharon Osbourne as a potential judge on the new series of The X Factor UK.

The 'Right There' singer was asked who she would pick as a replacement judge if the rumours Tulisa Contostavlos may be leaving the show turn out to be true.

Nicole said she is a big fan of Sharon and "adores" her, so would love to see the former X Factor panelist return to the UK show.

"Sharon Osbourne is actually the first person who introduced me to X Factor and brought me on as a guest judge," Nicole revealed exclusively to Capital.

"So I'm team Sharon all the way," Nicole confirmed. "I absolutely adore her and love her. She's a righteous mama."

Earlier this week Nicole gave an interview where she admitted to being "proud" to have survived her first year on The X Factor, and admitted she is now "dancing around" the idea of returning for a second run on the show.

The X Factor UK is due to return with a brand new series on ITV this summer.
