The 'Try With Me' singer says it feels "great" to come full circle and return to the ITV talent show.
Nicole Scherzinger has released a statement about signing on as the fourth and final judge for this year's series of The X Factor.
The 'Try With Me' singer was officially announced for the ITV1 talent show earlier today (15th June), and says she is "so excited" about joining The X Factor alongside returning judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh.
"I'm so excited to join the UK X Factor family," Nicole said, in a statement on the official The X Factor website. "It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.
"I can't wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists."
The X Factor UK announced the news officially on their Twitter feed this afternoon.
"What's new pussycat? Well we can confirm the gorgeous @NicoleScherzy is the 4th Judge on this year's judging panel! #Glam #Girlpower," they posted.
Nicole is reported to have agreed at £750,000 deal to replace former judge Kelly Rowland on the ITV1 series.
The 'Wet' singer was among a number of stars including Rita Ora, Leona Lewis and Anastasia that served as guest judges at the show's live auditions over the past few weeks.
The X Factor UK is set to return to the air this summer on ITV1.
