Nicole Scherzinger's Ex Lewis Hamilton Tweets About Heartbreak Fresh From Their Split

The 'Boomerang' star's former flame hints that he is still in love with the star in an emotional message.

Lewis Hamilton has opened up about his heartbreak as well as hinting that he wants to get back together with ex-girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

The Formula One driver took to Twitter this weekend to open up about love, just weeks after he and 'Boomerang' singer Nicole called time on their romance after five years as a couple.

"If you've found that special someone, don't EVER let them go no matter what!!" Lewis tweeted out to his followers, which include Nicole, on Friday (19th July). "Nothing in this world is more important."

The popular UK sports driver also appeared to be using his recent heartbreak as inspiration for his other hobby, music, after sharing a snap from inside his recording studio.

"My hideaway - pouring my heart into this track," Lewis posted, alongside a picture of himself standing alone in the studio, seen below (Credit: Instagram):

Earlier this week 'Boomerang' singer Nicole gave an interview where she admitted to being lonely in the UK during her latest stint on The X Factor UK, even joking that she is having to dine out with her publicist because she has no friends or family here.

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton confirmed their split back in June amid rumours that they busy schedules and travel issues were to blame.
