Nicki Minaj Says She Won't Be Touring In 2013: "I Won't Have The Time!"

The 'Va Va Voom' rapper says she is upset not to be able to head out on the road this year.

Nicki Minaj says she is unlikely to head out on tour this year because she has so many projects on the go at the moment.

The 'Starships' rapper says although she would love to hit the road, her commitments to American Idol, various product endorsements and working on a new album mean she won't have the time to perform many live shows.

"I don't think I can, I really would love to," Nicki told MTV News, when asked about her touring plans for this year. "I don't think I"ll have the time.

"I'm also going to be launching a few products this year that I'm really going to have to lend myself to the clothing line, I have a drink that's about to come out and these new speakers that you guys are going to see a commercial for this week or next week.

"So I have a lot of things that the business side of me has to work on and I also want to be here so I can write," she explained.

The 'Va Va Voom' rapper went on to say that she needs to put more of her time into writing a new album this year, rather than heading back out on the road.

"I obviously am going to start working on the third album very, very soon," Nicki teased. "I just haven't started writing, but that's my biggest priority at this point."

Nicki Minaj revealed she has recorded a new collaboration with Ciara recently, and has hinted that she may drop the 'Pink' theme from her next album.
