Nicki Minaj Says New Single 'Starships' Makes People Feel Happy

The 'Roman Reloaded' rapper says she couldn't wait to release 'Starships' as the second single from her new album.
Nicki Minaj her new single 'Starships' is one of her favourite songs from her upcoming second album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.
The 'Stupid Hoe' rapper's latest track received its first play on Capital FM earlier today (14th February), and Nicki says she knew straight away 'Starships' should be her next single release.
"'Starships' is one of my absolute, absolute favourites on Pink Friday," Nicki told Ryan Seacrest yesterday (13th February). "I know people are going to love it. It feels right. It just feels good.
"It makes people feel happy and that's all I want," she explained. "I want to start the year off making people feel good.
Nicki added: "Now it's time to make people dance and have fun and that's all I want to do."
The 'Roman's Holiday' rapper performed at the Grammy Awards 2012 on Sunday (12th February), and is also nominated for International Breakthrough at the BRIT Awards next week.
