The 'Super Bass' rapper will be joined by a secret artist to perform live at the annual awards show.
Nicki Minaj has been confirmed for a performance at tomorrow night's MTV Video Music Awards 2012.
The 'Starships' rapper was announced yesterday as the latest addition to the performance line-up for the annual MTV show, which will also see live sets from the likes of One Direction, Pink and Rihanna.
Nicki will take to the stage alongside a surprise guest to perform live for the Staples Center audience in Los Angeles, while 2 Chainz is also set to make his debut at the awards show, potentially to perform his collaboration with Nicki on 'Beez In The Trap'.
It was also announced this week that Lil Wayne will perform at the ceremony when he gives the world premiere performance of his new single 'No Worries', taken from new mix tape 'Dedication 4'.
'Super Bass' rapper Nicki is set to return to the UK this autumn for her new arena tour across the country, alongside support acts Misha B and Tyga, and will kick the jaunt off on 21st October in Nottingham.
Last month Nicki unveiled the music video for her next 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' single 'I Am Your Leader', which features both Rick Ross and Cam'Rom.
