Nicki Minaj Opens Up On Mariah Carey American Idol Feud: "She Met Her Match"

The 'Starships' rapper admits the filmed dispute came as a surprise to her fellow judge.

Nicki Minaj has opened up on her recently filmed argument with Mariah Carey on the set of Americna Idol to say how she believes the fellow female star "met her match".

The 'Pound The Alarm' star was involved in an altercation with the 'Dreamlover' singer during auditions in North Carolina - where she was seen slamming her fellow judge's attitude.

Speaking in a preview segment of her new E! reality Tv show, the star can be heard saying how she thinks Mariah wasn't expecting something like that to happen.

"I think Mariah met her match this time, and I don't think she was expecting to meet her match," she tells the cameras.
The feud was downplayed by several executives of the show including boss Nigel Lythgoe at the time.

Meanwhile, Nicki is currently coming towards the end of her new UK and Ireland Arena tour and is preparing to release the repacked verison of her lastest album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

Last week, the Trinidad-born star unveiled the tracklisitng which will accompany the record.
