Nicki Minaj has revealed she is unlikely to perform on American Idol despite being one of the show's judges.
The 'Freedom' star says she would prefer to stay behind the judging panel table during her time on the show, fresh from country star Keith Urban's performance on Idol last week.
"I don't know if I want to wear the performer hat on Idol," Nicki admitted to MTV News this week. "I think kudos to Keith [Urban] for doing it.
"But I just don't know if I want to wear that hat there," she explained.
The 'Pound The Alarm' rapper went on to praise all of the contestants still in the competition, and said she predicts bright futures for everyone left on the show.
"To be completely honest, I feel they could all go out and make an album right now and be successful around the world," Nicki admitted. 'They put in the work, they put in a lot of work and they deserve to be there.
"I think that's what makes me happy, the people we have left deserve to be there," she added.
