The 'Little Things' four-piece wrote several songs with the boy band for their latest album release.
McFly singer Tom Fletcher says he wants to work with One Direction again after a successful songwriting session with the 'Live While We're Young' five-piece over the summer.
The 'Love Is Easy' singer and his bandmates worked with One Direction on two tracks, 'I Would' and 'Irresistible', from their new album 'Take Me Home', and would love to get back in the studio with them again in the future.
"It's quite a selective process, writing for other bands," Tom Fletcher revealed to the Daily Star this week. "I don't want to write a song for just anyone."
The 'Obviously' singer explained that he wants the working relationship McFly and One Direction began over the summer can continue in the future.
"I only do it for people I really like because that's when you do your best work," Tom explained. "I hope the relationship we have with One Direction can continue."
The McFly singer went on to hail One Direction's first single 'What Makes You Beautiful" as being a "breath of fresh air" for pop music when it was released in September last year.
"It's perfect pop and you don't think about anything else," he added. "The new Taylor Swift single is the same."
