The iconic rock star gave his own spin on the popular global hit single during a concert last week.

Bruce Springsteen surprised fans in Auckland, New Zealand recently by performing a cover of hometown hero Lorde.

The 'Born To Run' singer, who is touring across New Zealand and Australia at present, got huge cheers when he broke out into an acoustic version of her hit song 'Royals'.

Lorde has had a meteoric rise to fame over the past year following the launch of her album 'Pure Heroine' and hit singles including 'Royals' and her latest release 'Team'.
