Little Mix Hit Number One In US On First Day Of Releasing New Album 'Salute' Stateside

The 'Move' band have hit the top spot already after launching their album in America.

Little Mix launched their new album 'Salute' in the US today (4th February) and have already hit number one on the real-time iTunes US daily digital sales chart.

The 'DNA' four-piece released the record in the US this week following their huge success with recent single 'Move', and will be celebrating after their second studio outing hit the top spot on its first day of release.

While the deluxe edition of 'Salute' is currently at number one on the chart, the standard edition is also proving strong having landed currently at number 33.

The release comes just days before Little Mix hit the road as a support act on Demi Lovato's 'Neon Lights' US tour, alongside fellow UK star Cher Lloyd.

Little Mix chatted to Max all about their new single 'Word Up' on her Capital FM show this past Sunday (2nd February).
