The 'DNA' band say the boy band stars gave them some words of wisdom about making it big in the US.
Little Mix have revealed that One Direction gave them some good advice about cracking the American music market.
The 'Wings' four-piece are set to launch themselves stateside this year, with the release of their debut album at the end of this month, and say 'Live While We're Young' band One Direction just told them to "be yourselves".
"I asked the boys from One Direction how to make it in America and they basically said, 'Be yourself and you can't go wrong'," Leigh-Anne Pinnock says, in the new issue of Seventeen magazine. "People know when you're trying to be someone you're not.
"Just be true to who you are," Leigh-Anne recalled, before adding: "So that's what we've been doing!"

The 'DNA' four-piece also said they were given advice by Spice Girls star Emma Bunton, who told them that friendship is the most important aspect of being in a girl band.
"When we met the Spice Girls, Emma Bunton told us to keep being friends because that's the connection fans love you for," Jade Thirlwall recalled.
Little Mix release their debut album 'DNA' in America on 28th may.
