The 'Born This Way' star thanks fans for support as she posts picture of Marilyn Monroe on Twitter.
Lady Gaga has once again hit out at critics who have suggested that she has gained weight.
The 'Judas' singer's weight has come under the spotlight since recent pictures of the 'Born This Way Ball' world tour were released last week showing her with an apparently more curvacious figure.
In a radio interview on Friday (21st September), Lady Gaga acknowledged the reports about her weight, admitting that while she has "put on 25 pounds" she doesn't care and is enjoying not having to be on "such a strict diet constantly".
She also said she had bulked up in order to perform on her "rigorous" world tour, which has already seen her perform at venues across the Far East and Europe, including the UK.
Lady Gaga appeared to allude to the reports again in a message on Twitter yesterday (22nd September) shortly before she performed a gig in Paris.
Lady Gaga has been performing around the world on her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour:
Posting a picture of Marilyn Monroe along with a quote discussing fashion's obsession with "size 0" models, Lady Gaga wrote: "And thank to my fans who love me no matter what, and know the meaning of real beauty & compassion. I really love you."
While performing on her 'Born This Way Ball' tour, Lady Gaga has also been busy working on her new album 'ARTPOP'.
She has yet to confirm a release date for her third album but has announced plans to unveil her new music via a mobile app.
