The 'Marry The Night' star is hoping to break U2's record with the jaunt.
Lady Gaga is set to embark on a 450-date world tour, starting in 2012, according to reports.
The 'Marry The Night' singer will reportedly spend two years on the road promoting her new album 'Born This Way'.
Lady Gaga apparently hopes the tour will be her opportunity to break U2's records for the highest grossing and most attended tour ever.
A source told The Sun: "The Haus Of Gaga is taking things up a gear. She is planning to kick things off in Asia and India next year and go on a gruelling world tour.
"As is always the case with Gaga, the plans came to her in her sleep. She has a target of 450 dates. It has never been done before, but she's doesn't think that's a reason not to try."
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga this week released her video for new single 'Marry The Night'.
The 14 minute video is the star's longest to date and the first that Lady Gaga has directed herself.
