Lady Gaga Confirms She And Jazz Legend Tony Bennett Are Recording An Album Together

The ‘Born This Way’ star previously worked with the iconic jazz performer in 2011.
Lady Gaga has confirmed she will be releasing a jazz album with legendary singer Tony Bennett.
The star tweeted a photograph of the pair on Wednesday (23rd January) alongside the caption: 'And here's me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he's my darling!'
86 year-old Bennett joined Gaga on stage at the White House Staff Ball earlier this week, celebrating the inauguration of President Barack Obama, of whom Lady Gaga is a keen supporter.
The pair performed a cover of 'The Lady Is A Tramp' together live at the event, after Gaga also performed versions of her massive hits ‘Born This Way’ and ‘You and I’.

The duo had previously worked together on his 2011 Duets album on the jazz classic ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’. Bennett has hailed her as “one of the best jazz singers ever”, while Lady Gaga named him “charming” and “such a gentleman”.
Lady Gaga has yet to announce when the new jazz album will be released.
