The 'Born This Way' singer responds after Sharon defended her daughter Kelly in ongoing feud.
Lady Gaga has responded to Sharon Osbourne's open letter, telling her that she and her daughter Kelly should try and change the world "into a better place".
The trio first entered into a war of words after Kelly claimed Lady Gaga's fans – her Little Monsters – had been threatening her online.
The 'Born This Way' star then responded, claiming that Kelly cruelly targeted celebrities in her role as a panelist on E!'s Fashion Police, which prompted Sharon to say, "Welcome the real world."
"Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened," the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne added.
Lady Gaga has now written an open letter to Sharon, which was posted on her Twitter and Facebook pages.
"The 'real world' can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place?" Lady Gaga said.
"I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do. My letter to Kelly Osborne was open, because her statements on cyber-bullying were public & as a youth activist I'm compelled to be involved."
Lady Gaga recently resumed her 'Born This Way Ball' tour and is expected to release her new album 'ARTPOP' this year.
The star also surpassed 33 million Twitter followers this weekend.
