The singer finally talks about claims 'Born This Way' sounds like 'Express Yourself'.
Madonna has spoken about the comparisons between her music and Lady Gaga -and called the 'Judas' star's music "reductive".
Speaking to ABC News, Madonna said Lady Gaga was "a very talented artist" and admitted that she admired her songwriting.
But the 'Like A Virgin' star become more coy about her opinion of Lady Gaga when asked whether she thought the singer was "copying her".
"I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it's amusing and flattering and well done," she said.
Asked specifically about similarties between 'Born This Way' and Madonna's 'Express Yourself', Madonna replied: "When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar."
Questioned whether that annoyed her, Madonna said: "It felt reductive."
When the interviewer asked if that was a good thing, the singer simply said: "Look it up" before sipping her tea cup like Lady Gaga.
Madonna is currently preparing for the release of her new album 'MDNA'.
