The 'Born This Way' star is being recognised for her gay rights campaigning.
Lady Gaga is among the artists who have been nominated for this year's GLAAD Media Awards.
The awards, which are in their 23rd year, recognise those who provide "fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives".
Lady Gaga is nominated for Outstanding Music Artist along with a host of other music names, including The Voice star Beverly McClellan.
The GLAADs also feature a nomination category for Outstanding Drama Series, which this year includes the US TV show Glee.
Lady Gaga has been an outspoken representative for gay and lesbian rights in the last 12 months, and was among a host of music stars who backed calls for gay marriage to be allowed in New York last summer.
