Katy Perry performed 'California Gurls' during her set at Capital's Summertime Ball in London.

The song was released in 2010 as the lead single from Katy's second album 'Teenage Dream'.

The track's lyrics paint a colourful picture of sunny California – Katy's home stage – and the original version of the song feature a cameo appearance from Snoop Dogg.

'California Gurls' was a summer smash, topping the Vodafone Big Top 40 upon its release.
