Katy Perry Wins Big At People's Choice Awards 2012

The ' I kissed A Girl' singer managed to scoop a total of five gongs at the ceremony in Los Angeles last night.
Katy Perry dominated the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night (11th January) after picking up a total of five awards.
The 'California Gurls' star was the most triumphant artist on the night as she picked up nods for Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Tour Headliner and Favourite Song for her collaboration with Kanye West on the track 'E.T'.
The singer was a notable absentee from the event after confirming earlier in the week that she would not be attending the event following news of her divorce to comedian Russell Brand.
Other winners on the evening included Lady Gaga who picked up Favourite Album for 'Born This Way', Rihanna who won Favourite R&B Artist and Bruno Mars picked up the award for Favourite Male Artist.
Meanwhile, the star recently spoke out for the first time since her marriage breakdown to confess she was feeling "happy" and confessed that no one speaks for her, including her family.
