The 'I Kissed A Girl' star is "grateful" the track has been received so well.
Katy Perry has confessed that she is looking forward to shooting the music video to her new song 'Part Of Me'.
The star unveiled the track during her Grammys 2012 live performance and fans were full of praise for the song following its first play on Capital yesterday (13th February).
She took to her Twitter account earlier today, and thanked her fans for their support.
She tweeted: "Holy power of the Grammy's, Part Of Me is already top 10 on itunes! U guys are killing it! NICE! Can't wait to shoot this video! #grateful."
The singer was making her first live TV performance since news broke of her marriage breakdown to comedian Russell Brand and used the opportunity to display a new song.
Meanwhile, a lyrics video to the track was recently unveiled and the song will form the part of a special release of her album 'Teenage Dream' entitled 'The Complete Collection."
