The new song has emerged just days after star's divorce from Russell Brand.
A new Katy Perry track, in which she sings about falling for the wrong man, has appeared online just days after it was announcing she and husband Russell Brand are to divorce.
The country-inspired song, 'Bullet', is a demo of a track eventually released by Jessie James in 2009.
It begins with the lines: "My mama warned me about boys like you/ It's the reason I wear these high-heeled boots/
"And let me give you a little piece of advice/ My papa packs heat and he won't think twice."
The timing of the song's appearance online has led to speculation that it has been leaked to coincide with Katy's divorce from Russell.
The British comedian announced over the festive period that the pair were separating due to irreconcilable differences.
