Katy Perry Says New Album Will Contain Darker Music

The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer admits she will be aiming to alter people's perceptions of her style in her first post marriage break-up record.
Katy Perry has confessed that her new music and potential album will contain "dark" music.
The 'California Gurls' star was speaking to Saturday Night Live star Kirtsen Wiig in the latest issue of Interview magazine when the comedian named checked a few acts who reminded her of the singer's "fun" sounding music including The Bangles, Madonna and Go-Go's.
Katy replied: "Yeah, well, my music is about to get real f****** dark. I'll be shoe-gazing. You'll never see my face because my hair is in my face."
The singer recently revealed that her she is now ready to close the chapter on her last album 'Teenage Dream' and has also been speaking about her love of film and her desire to get into acting more seriously in the future.
