Katy Perry Confirmed For Kids Choice Awards 2012 Performance - Video

The 'Teenage Dream' singer will return to the annual awards show following her memorable sliming back in 2010.

Katy Perry has been confirmed for a performance at this year's Kids' Choice Awards. 

The 'Firework' singer is up for both Favourite Female and Favourite Song at the 2012 awards ceremony, and has been announced as leading the show's line-up.

"Katy Perry has doubly earned her position as kids favourite – through her music, of course – but also or reveling in an outrageous sliming on the show two years ago," Nickelodeon representative Marjorie Cohn said in the announcement. "She works hard and plays hard, and that's what makes her performance on the KCAs one to look forward to." 

"Our teenage dreams have come true! Katy Perry will be performing at the Kids' Choice Awards," the event announced on Facebook today (12^th March). 

"One of the most memorable KCA moments ever was the EPIC sliming of Katy Perry in 2010!" the KCA website reads. "Now the brave lass is returning to the scene of the slime…but this is the first time she'll take to our stage to sing!

"Will she bring home a blimp…or come home covered in slime AGAIN?"

Katy Perry will perform at the Kids Choice Awards 2012 which is due to take place in Los Angeles on 31^st March.
