Diplo has praised Katy Perry has having a "great voice" after working with the US star on tracks for her new album.
'Wide Awake' singer Katy is now hard at work on the follow-up to her 2010 album 'Teenage Dream', and Major Lazer star Diplo says he was called in to help.
The 'Pon De Floor' producer says it was great getting to work with the US singer-songwriter on her third studio record, and hailed her for her confidence at trying out new things.
"I just did some stuff with Katy Perry," Diplo confirmed in The Sun this week. "I don't know if it will come out.
"She's so confident and has a great voice," he said of Katy.

Diplo went on to say it can be a struggle working with pop artists to make sure the songs he produces aren't too "weird".
"I always worry about making the pop tracks too weird," he added. "But then if people want a Diplo record they mud know I'm going to b f*****g weird."
The American producer has worked with stars including Usher, Tinie Tempah and more recently, Beyonce.
Katy Perry's new album is expected to be "more mature", according to her regular co-writer Bonnie McKee.
