Kanye West Asks Kim Kardashian To Marry Him This Year After Birth Of Their Daughter?

The 'Yeezus' rapper is said to have popped the question this month for a September time wedding.

Kanye West is reportedly set to wed girlfriend Kim Kardashian later this year after asking the reality star to marry him just days before the birth of their daughter last weekend.

The 'All Of The Lights' rapper became a father to his first child with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim last Saturday (15th June), and fresh reports say he and Kim are now engaged after he popped the question.

The new claims suggest Kanye also purchased her a £500,000 custom-made ring to celebrate the birth of their daughter, rumoured to have been named North West, and now is planning a wedding for September time this year out in Paris, France.

"Kanye wasted no money in making sure Kim had the best of everything while she's in hospital," a source told The Sun this week. "He has spent half a million on a ring as a push present and had it designed months ago in preparation.

"He's even more in love with her now then ever and they can't wait to get married," the source added.

Friday (21st June) saw widespread rumours the couple had settled on the name North for their first child together, despite claims earlier in the week that Kim and Kanye had chosen the name Kadence for their daughter.

Kanye West launched new album 'Yeezus' last week and is widely expected to take the record out on tour before the end of 2013.
