Jesse J has delivered an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston in Los Angeles – just hours after the 48-year-old singer died.

The British star performed her hit 'Who You Are' in honour of the late singer at Clive Davis' pre-show party ahead of the Grammy Awards.

Speaking to Capital FM in January, Jessie revealed that she was a big fan of Whitney and that her track 'Domino' had been inspired by her.

"Me, Claude [Kelly] and [Dr.] Luke sat and listened to Whitney Houston in the studio, and Prince," Jessie told Capital FM. "I was like, 'I want to write my version of that in this day and age.""[We] wanted to do something up-tempo, fun, everyone can sing along to it, every age can dance to it.

"It's such a happy song, it makes me smile."
