Jessie J has said she is excited about shaving her head.
The 'Who You Are' star has vowed the shave her famous hair off this year in aid of some as-yet-unknown charities.
Speaking to Capital FM, the singer said she was set to have a meeting next week about the project.
"I'm having a meeting about it next week and talking about the charities I want to do it for and how we're going to do it," she said.
"It's one of those things you say but a lot of planning has to go into it. But I'm excited; I'm excited to do something good for the world."
Jessie, who has yet to decide when she will shave her head, said that she had decided to embark on the ambitious project after breaking her foot in 2011.
"When I broke my foot I went round a lot of hospitals and met a lot of kids that inspired me more than anything else," she said.
"The passion they have to carry on through times of illness. I need to use being someone that people know to do something good for the world."
Meanwhile, Jessie is currently at number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with her brand new single 'Domino', which is available to download now.
