Jessie J, Kelly Clarkson To Play VH1 2011 Divas Concert

Jessie J and Kelly Clarkson will both perform at this year's VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul concert in New York, it's been announced.

Florence And The Machine and Jennifer Hudson will also appear at the event, which pays tributes to cities and artists that pioneered soul music.

The Roots will serve as the house band for the event.

Lee Rolontz, VH1's Executive Vice President of Original Music Production and Development, said: "This year's telecast will showcase the vast impact soul music has had on the 21st century's music and pop culture landscape as our talented and diverse lineup will attest.

"This year's Divas offers a modern twist on soul music, all while tipping its hat to the legacy of key cities that created this musical heritage."

The concert will air on VH1 on December 19.
